Enriching Lives Across Generations

You’ve Got Talent programme is currently available at more than 60 My First Skool centres and community partners’ locations.

Enrichment activities such as sports and the arts are often inaccessible to children from low-income families and seniors due to cost, limited access, or social isolation. Without these opportunities, many miss out on important avenues for self-expression, confidence-building, and meaningful social engagement.

The You’ve Got Talent (YGT) programme bridges this gap by providing accessible enrichment experiences across generations. Through activities such as art, crafts, sports, music, and movement, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build fine motor skills, and develop creativity and self-confidence beyond the classroom. Seniors, in turn, benefit from opportunities to stay active, engaged, and socially connected, supporting their overall well-being and sense of purpose.

More than just skill-building, YGT fosters a sense of community by creating shared spaces for participation and interaction. By making enrichment accessible to both young and old, the programme empowers individuals across life stages to discover their strengths and lead more fulfilling lives.

YGT is co-funded by the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union, whose support enables more participants to benefit from these meaningful and enriching experiences.
