This Data Privacy Statement is issued by NE Community Fund (UEN: 202509409K) in relation to the NTUC Community Fund brand. We respect and honour the privacy of our stakeholders, including our donors, volunteers, partners, and participants. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

“Personal Data” refers to any information that can identify you individually. This may include, but is not limited to: 

  • Your name, NRIC/FIN, or Passport number. 
  • Contact information such as your phone number, mailing address, and email address. 
  • Payment information for donation processing. 
  • Any other information provided through forms or interactions with us, as required to provide our services, programmes, or opportunities to you. 

2. Collection, Use and Disclosure 

We collect and use your data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate. These include: 

  • Programme Administration: Assessing eligibility for our programmes, managing enrolment and participation, and delivering essential services, assistance or support. 
  • Processing Donations: Registering your attendance at events, processing tax deductions, and issuing receipts. 
  • Marketing and Communications: Sending newsletters, updates on our activities, or information about future opportunities and fundraising efforts. Such information will only be sent if you have explicitly provided your consent (e.g., by opting in via our registration forms or website). 
  • Statutory Requirements: Sharing necessary data with government agencies (such as IRAS for tax-deductible donations) as required by law. 
  • Media: Capturing photos or videos at our events for publicity and educational purposes. 

3. Website Browsing 

If you are only browsing the website, we do not capture data that allows us to identify you individually.

To safeguard your personal data, we implement strict security measures: 

  • Access Control: Only authorised personnel have access to our records and databases. 
  • Security Technologies: All storage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate administrative controls and security technologies.
